Laluna Social Enterprise

Laluna Social Enterprise, active since 1994 in San Giovanni di Casarsa della Delizia (PN), promotes independence, social inclusion, and employment opportunities for people with disabilities through housing and training projects and activities open to the community.

Among the most interesting initiatives is Scur di Luna, an inclusive artisan pastry workshop that makes cookies and other sweets, involving people with disabilities in the various stages of production, from preparation to packaging.

With Ortoattivo, the association promotes the cultivation of community gardens and collaboration between people with disabilities, volunteers and farmers, while Ortoattivo PET offers animal-assisted activities, particularly with donkeys, through workshops for schools and groups, readings for children and individualized programs. Laluna also organizes sports, cultural and recreational events, meetings and volunteer activities, including the traditional Maratoluna, a walk involving the local community.
