The church, in addition to being a place of worship, is a tourist attraction due to the historical and artistic significance of the building and the works preserved within it, such as a mosaic located at a lower level than the floor of the current church. To access the interior, one must overcome a staircase, lacking systems or structures that allow a person with disabilities to overcome the height difference. There is also a step at the access door. Inside, the spaces are large and the flooring is fairly level, although in some areas it is uneven.
