The explanatory sign for the 10,000 steps is located on Via Cavour in front of the large parking lot in front of the secondary school and externally to a parking lot in the sports area (with entrance from Via dello Sport). It is positioned about 100 m away from what is indicated on the map.

The path begins to the right of the explanatory sign (photos 1 and 2) and proceeds along the provincial road (Via Cavour).

You will encounter a roundabout that intersects with Via dello Sport, which is necessary to enter to cross the roundabout at the designated pedestrian crossing, and then return to Via Cavour. This section is characterized by a pedestrian and cycling path protected by a 10 cm curb.

Upon reaching the corner of Via Buonarroti, turn left and continue along the sidewalk; from here the streets have low traffic intensity.

You need to cross a minor road (you have to go down and back up on the sidewalk, about 8 cm curb, there is no pedestrian crossing) and continue beyond.

At the next junction, turn left onto Via Nievo, where it is possible to use the sidewalk on the left and it is also advisable to use the bike lane on the other side of the road, where however there are no pedestrian crossings to cross.

After traveling a stretch, before the curve of Via Nievo you need to cross to the left (on the crosswalk) and then continue to the right to follow a short stretch of natural ground – (Photos 3, 4 and photos 5-6).

This short passage takes us to Via dei Fiori.

Here, after crossing the road without pedestrian crossings and reaching the sidewalk, turn left and then right.

At the end of via Marte, you need to cross left where there are no pedestrian crossings, moving onto the sidewalk on the other side to turn left onto via Anello del Sole, but only for a short stretch because you must cross right where there is a pedestrian crossing and continue right on via Anello del Sole in a counterclockwise direction (Photo 7). The road makes a wide curve (Photo 8). Leaving a newsstand on the right and near a tall building, you leave the sidewalk to turn left onto internal paths with a gravel surface. On the path, there are various playgrounds for children (Photo 9 – 12).

Following the entire path, you return to via Anello del Sole, which is now followed in a clockwise direction (Photos 13, 14, 15).

The road makes a tighter curve. You need to follow the direction suggested by the sidewalks (keeping in mind that the path is meant to be parallel to the road). After almost completing the loop of the street (near house number 16), you need to cross the entire road to the left, where you walk about 15 m

The pedestrian passage ideally continues with an additional paved pedestrian path (in the green) that reaches viale Europa Unita (Photos 16-18). Here, you continue to the left on the sidewalk. After passing a hotel and a venue, you cross straight, on the stripes, via Orsa Maggiore. You always follow the line of the sidewalk that accommodates spaces used for parking. You then reach the corner with via dello Sport, where you must turn left. The long avenue requires some crossings of internal roads, such as via Stella Polare, where there is no pedestrian crossing but there is a ramp, and via del Parco, where there are no pedestrian stripes. It follows a short stretch without a sidewalk, where it is necessary to pass on the right side without a crossing.

You now pass next to the sports facilities where there is a short crossing on a narrow road leading to the sports structures without ramps or stripes. You reach the parking lot at the end of via dello Sport. The route suggests walking along two sides of the parking lot (on the sidewalk) and then exiting onto the sidewalk of via Cavour to conclude the path.

The path develops for about 3.6 km
