The building is located at the end of a gravel and dirt pedestrian path, not very accessible. The entrance to the large hall is level (there is a small step at the threshold that is 2 cm high) and inside there are tanks with fish and displays illustrating the species present in the lagoon. The aquariums have varying heights and, to ensure visibility of those positioned higher for children, a removable wooden platform about 10 cm high has been placed, which is not accessible as it lacks a connecting ramp and also prevents wheelchair users from getting close. The environment is partly occupied by a raised exhibition area with some aquariums on display, accessible only by stairs.
